Your price is based on a standard combi-to-combi swap with the new boiler installed in the same place as the old one.

If extra work is necessary, like scaffolding to access your flue, boiler relocation, or pipework changes, additional charges may apply. British Gas will identify if extra work is required during your home survey.

2Confirm your boiler

British Gas then takes over. They’ll call you within two working days of placing your order to:

Check if any extra work is necessary through a home survey.

Confirm your price, take any extra payment and arrange your installation appointment. You can cancel for a full refund if you don’t accept any price changes.

3Install your boiler

An expert British Gas engineer will come to install your new boiler within 14 working days of your confirmation call.

If they spot any extra work is necessary, they’ll let you know how much it’ll cost before starting. If you don’t accept, you can still cancel for a full refund.

4Activate your warranty

Your 5-year warranty starts as soon as your boiler’s installed.

To keep your warranty active, your boiler must have a yearly, chargeable service. This can be arranged through British Gas.

How will my boiler be installed?

British Gas will contact you to check your details, confirm the cost and book your installation. If more work's needed, you'll get a new quote, or you can cancel for a full refund.

This installation is for a combi-to-combi replacement only, so make sure your current system is compatible. You'll also get a five-year British Gas warranty, and your old boiler and waste will be safely removed and disposed of.

Delivering large items

If you're getting a large item delivered to a room or flat above the first floor of your home or block, our team will only be able to decide if they can safely deliver it when they arrive.
You can let us know at the checkout for any limitations (e.g. no lift, nearest parking) you may have.

Our FREE order & collect service

You can now order your small item(s) online, and safely collect them from your chosen store within the date of your selected delivery option.

Once you’ve selected “collect in store” at the online checkout, we’ll email you your confirmation & collection details. When you do come to collect your item(s) make sure you bring this confirmation email, and the last four digits of your payment/gift card or voucher.

Returns and refunds

If you purchased online and you have changed your mind you can return your items within 30 days even if you have opened it for inspection. It must be returned as new and where possible, in its original packaging.

If your item develops a fault we will offer either a repair, exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 30 days of purchase (or delivery or installation). If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you a prompt repair service. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.

Large items
